Yaseen Foundation’s Shura Council decided, in collaboration with ISNA, MCA, and various other Islamic organizations in the SF Bay area, the following dates for Ramadan and Eid:
Ramadan 1431: Wednesday, August 11, 2010
Eid Al Fitr 1431: Friday, September 10, 2010
Taraweeh Prayers will start Tuesday, Aug 10th, 2010.

Isha Prayer: InshaAllah, Isha prayer starts at 9:30pm for first 10 days, 9:15pm for second 10 days and 9:00pm for the last 10 days of Ramadan.
Taraweeh: InshaAllah, Taraweeh prayers will be lead by our resident Imam Abdurrahman Anwar. Taraweeh prayers will be 20 rakaa. There will be a short 5-minute lesson (dars) every day after the 4 raka'a.
Qayam Ul Layl: InshaAllah, Qayam will start on Monday Night, Aug 30th, A special prayer will be held starting 3:00 AM followed by Suhur at the Masjid
Friday Speakers: 1st Friday - Imam Abdur Rahman. 2nd Friday - Brother Jalaal, 3rd Friday - Shaikh Ameer Abdel Malek 4th Friday - Dr. Hatem Bazia
Interfaith Iftaar: will be held on Aug 22nd at the Belmont Masjid. This is a chance to invite your non muslim friends over an evening full of information and Iftaar
Imsakia (Ramadan Schedule): Please download the Ramadan Timetable/ Yaseen Imsakia which has the complete Ramadan program (Imsakia). You can print it for easy reference. We also have copies of the Imsakieh at the Center and at Friday Prayers in Belmont.
Babysitting: will be available on Friday and Saturday for your children during Isha and Taraweeh Prayers. If your children can pray with you the whole time, we encourage you to bring them to prayer. However, if they will be making noise, running around or distracting others, then babysitting is the right place for them. Thanks for your consideration. Babysitting will be provided at Twin Pines Lodge, 1225 Ralston Ave, Belmont, CA 94002 . Babysitting hours are 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
Daily Iftars: Daily Iftar for Singles Only from Sunday to Friday will be offered at the Yaseen Center, 621 Masonic Way, Belmont, CA 94002. Community Iftaar on Saturday will be offered at Belmont Sports Complex, 550 Island Pkwy, Belmont , CA 94002 . Yaseen Daily Iftar Sponsorship is $500 ( which can be split by 2 individuals), and Community Iftar sponsorship is $1800, which can be shared by multiple families. Please email

Yaseen Foundation is the Muslim Community Association of the Peninsula centered in Belmont, California, which is in the center of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Yaseen is a non-profit organization founded in late 1999. It is managed by volunteers who are elected by its members. Yaseen's services are leveraged by a large community, which spans from Daly City and South San Francisco to Palo Alto, California.
