Monthly Food Distribution at Yaseen Foundation
At Yaseen Foundation, we strive to support those in need in every way we can.
One of the ways we do this is through our monthly Community Food Share programs in Burlingame & Belmont, where we provide essential groceries to families and individuals facing food insecurity.
These programs are made possible through our partnerships with Support Life Foundation and Second Harvest Food Bank, allowing us to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry.
وَيُطْعِمُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِۦ مِسْكِينًا وَيَتِيمًا وَأَسِيرًا
And they give food—despite their desire for it—to the poor, the orphan, and the captive (76:8)
Support Life Foundation at YBC
Every third Friday, Support Life Foundation hosts a free monthly food distribution for all comers at Yaseen Burlingame Center (1722 Gilbreth Rd).
All are welcome!
Second Harvest Food Bank at YBM
Want to Receive Groceries?
Eligible recipients may register on site during the food distribution to receive free groceries.
There are food distribution sites all over the Bay Area on different days and times. For more information regarding eligibility and alternative locations use the food locator on the Second Harvest website by clicking here.
Want to Volunteer?
Every fourth Saturday of the month.
Truck drops off food around 6:45am, please be there by 7:15am to help with set up.
Food distribution starts around 7:30 AM.
We will be outdoors so please dress accordingly.
Must be 15 years old to volunteer.
